Which series opener did you think was the best?

I thought seen as there has been a poll around series openers for TW, then there should be a poll around the series openers for DW

Rose. Tough choice but I always felt that Billie and Chris had better chemistry than she and David managed in the subsequent series.

It's not a very popular episode, but I thought New Earth. Series two was my favourite series, and New Earth was one of the 'not too serious' episodes. Loved the Doctor and Rose in that one, too. :grin:

I'm gonna go with Rose because this was my first intro into to Dr who but Partners In Crime came a close second.

I voted Partners in Crime however it was a very tough call as i was so close in voting Smith and Jones... which i also really liked, however i chose the Series 4 opening just because it is so much more funnier! lol

Mmm, gonna have to go with Rose myself. I am off the generation that missed out on DW, with the exception of the Paul McGann movie and right from the opening scene, I was in love with DW. The introduction to Rose, the Autons, Christopher's performance, it was just brilliant. I think the others have a lot going for them as well, especially Partners in Crime (Adipose are so cute, I want one) and The Eleventh Hour which was just sublime, but it's gonna have to be Rose.

I'm gonna go with Partners in Crime 'cause it was funny and brilliant.

Smith and Jones would be my second choice, followed by Rose, New Earth, Planet of the Dead and The Eleventh Hour.

hmmm.. this was a tough one. I like them all for different reasons, but went with Partners in Crime, cos I love Donna and the 10th Dr's relationship and it's bloomin hilarious!! :grin:
